The tattoo, done by Gosling himself, is located on the outer side of his left forearm, closer to the elbow. The actor had a grandiose idea for the design, in which the monster’s hand would be tearing apart his own hand. However, his lack of experience let him down, and now the tiny drawing resembles more of a cactus. Above the unsuccessful monster, on the upper right side, the abbreviation “WHR” is tattooed — “Werewolf Heart Records.” This is one of the songs of the musical group in which Ryan Gosling is involved.
